I heard about the nursery from a member of my family who lives near by. I had been looking for a nursery for my daughter and decided to have a look round. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by Sharon (the Manager) who took us on a tour of the nursery. We found that the nursery had been completed from building work to a very high standard and they had taken everything a child would need and more into consideration. We were told that a child’s need would always come first and they look at educating the child to a very high standard. We came away feeling positive and arranged for our daughter to attend. From day 1 we have been impressed. Our daughter has attended since the nursery opened in August 08 and what an improvement we have seen in her.
We have never had a problem with her crying when we drop her off- if anything the opposite. She will run in the room and straight away start to play with her friends. We are always greeted by Deborah who always has a very smart appearance and is always approachable and enthusiastic about our child’s development.
We are constantly informed of day to day activities within our child’s room, and any new activities that will be upcoming.
There is a folder of observations that have been done and our daughter’s achievements for us to look at whenever we want. We find this great. In the time that our daughter has been at the nursery she has learned to count, know her shapes and colours, her communication skills have improved so much and she has made lots of friends.
As parents we have been impressed with the nursery and have found all staff friendly and approachable. We would not hesitate in recommending the nursery to other families.
